Advent reminds us that life is about waiting, but nobody enjoys waiting. In these times we are exposed and often we don’t like what we see. Internal Family Systems is a helpful framework for understanding why we show up differently in different situations. As we understand our different parts, we can step into healing and growth.

Maturity brings contentment. Coming to a place in life in which we trust God to provide what we need and to do his work in and through us is a foundational sign of maturing in Christlikeness. The nuances of this are worth exploring.
